I like the functionality better than the other free guide offerings and I like the look of it better than Zygor's. Guidelime (in general): Guidelime is basically a shell that gives guide writers a way to publish leveling guides without having to learn lua. I liked using Questie because I could casually chose my own path with it but this is not even close to what you can get from a leveling guide in terms of efficiency. What Questie cannot do is let you know if the quests you have in your log would be better done now, later, or never. Questie will tell you what quests are available and then help you find a path to complete them all and then turn them in. Questie: This is what I used for most of my own characters in Classic - but it should be understood that this is NOT a leveling guide. If I'm not mistaken, they are using Jaime's for TBC so I expect the leveling "path" to be solid, though the guide instructions beyond just picking up, doing and turning in quest are likely a little limited. Wowpro: After Classic launch I found some sections to be great and some to be wretched depending on the author. It's still new, though, and the creators will likely find it difficult to actually break into the market and then provide the services of Zygor - but again I haven't tried it so I could be wrong. RestedXP: Haven't tried it but it looks like a smart addon design.

The actual leveling guide itself has been - in my experience - no better than several free guides I've tried BUT what they offer apart from that has made me consider reupping my sub more than once. A lot of people find the amount of stuff that Zygor's offers more than worth the monthly cost. Zygor's: The best addon overall hands down. Okay, so this is my first reddit post ever so - yeah I'm lame.įirst - thanks so much everyone for recommending my guide! I truly appreciate it!Īs the author of 2 leveling guides (one for WoW) I'll give my 2 cents - or 20 cents I suppose:
